Big Billion day at Flopkart

It was the special day of Eid and Flipkart had a plan to make themselves a little over 100 Million


They announced their special BIG billion day which actually meant the little story of a smoker here...A galore of offers that will blow your mind. Everyone at workplace were ready to buy some cheap stuff and many ordered. Great business fro flipkart it was and Sachin and Binny made lots of money for diwali parties

I went to twitter and could see some great things flying around, people tagging #FLOPKART #outofstock #cheapsales. I wanted to check out this so called big day billion sale(amazing isnt it?). I logged in to buy a phone for my mom. A Nokia Lumia 520. Checked in flipkart page and it was given as (11550 as original price )after 50% special flipkart discount it is 5500. I mean wth man even nokia guys will be shocked seeing the original price of 11500.complete nonsense.Here are some more example which will give you a complete picture on how they give you nonsense discounts.Here you can see how they have increased the actual price just to give you a discount. But the reality is up on the Snapdeal page. Both Indian companies but one is now loosing credibility at a very wrong time when Amazon is looking for some space



Seriously!! this pen drive costs 49999? and u give 95% discount? wow



And then the 1 Rupee pen drives GOD knows who got it because i dint see any human able to reach the payment gateway without the product getting sold out. How is all the products getting sold out. Sometimes even before the timer starts? I think i no how -> Flipkart was itself buying it so they can sell it again later.later. Flipkart made a complete fool of everyone on a auspicious day for some. They made fool of a Billion People on the Big Billion day sale. Looks like April 1st came early and nw they can give their employees the Diwali bonus

People who are happy with the deal and got good products its great but what about the people who dint read this?
No refunds
No cancellations

so you send me a broken tv and you expect me to be happy with what I got?why should we not choose. It wont be long before other e commerce take advantage of this situation like this. Good stuff from Snapdeal

I am not trying to degrade anyone here it is a Indian company or not. Even Snapdeal is a Indian company and it has some values with it than doing a big billion day sale with nonsense prices. But fooling around with people on a day handpicked as it is their one big festival in the year is not the right thing. You might have billions in revenue but not everyone who come to your site is a billionaire that "Dont look anywhere else". I am one among all other twitteraties and I heard a lot(no 1 single positive thing heard ) . The only positive thing was the tweets were funny and some go like this
